Most analytics tools were built in an era when tracking everything about everyone was the default. Cookies, fingerprinting, cross-site tracking — all accepted as "how it works."
Then GDPR happened. Suddenly every website needed a cookie banner, a consent management platform, a DPA, and a privacy policy rewrite. The tools didn't change — they just added a consent layer on top.
We took a different approach. Instead of bolting privacy onto existing patterns, we built Pixli from scratch with privacy as the architecture, not an afterthought. No cookies means no cookie banner. IP hashing with daily rotation means no personal data stored. Automatic PII masking means session recordings are safe by default.
But privacy alone isn't enough. We also wanted to build the analytics tool we wished existed — one that combines traffic analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, funnels, A/B testing, click tracking, and traffic quality scoring in a single lightweight script. No more juggling six different tools with six different scripts slowing down your site.
Pixli is that tool. ~5 KB gzipped. One dashboard. Everything you need to understand your visitors and grow your product — without compromising on privacy, performance, or your wallet.
Privacy isn't a feature you enable — it's how the system is built. Zero cookies, IP hashing, PII masking: these aren't options, they're defaults.
A ~5 KB script that does the work of six separate tools. Fewer scripts, fewer logins, fewer invoices. Simplicity is a feature.
No sampling, no "data processing" delays, no inflated numbers. What you see in Pixli is what actually happened on your site.
